What Our Customers Are Saying

I was looking for a nice place to rest and discover Ria Formosa area. I found much more than that. As you will read in other comments, the place is well located, simple, tidy clean and charming. Nissan and Rama are really kind and they’ll do anything to make you feel comfortable. They’ll also give you great recommendations for local restaurants and activities. I will miss “my” rooftop. I will be back, for sure. So, do not hesitate, come in, discover, and share, share, share … Obrigada, Thank you, Merci, Mauruuru.

Absolutely amazing location. Great views from the hotel rooms – beautiful, peaceful and authentic neighbourhood. Real Portuguese experience! The rooms were great too, the best we had in Portugal during all our stay! Absolutely recommended!

The owner was super nice to me, and even gave his charger for the camera because I forgot mine. Great location in the heart of Olhao with a spectacular terrace. With the price of a guesthouse and shared bathroom, the place really has everything one needs especially if you need to have your own food but spend most of the time outside. The kitchen, rooms, bed sheets are very clean and well-maintained. The rooms are in traditional Portuguese style, with that view from the terace you get a feeling of traveling few centuries back.

Our stay was a fantastically positive experience. First of all Marc was a great host. He gave us lots of useful locals tips about the nearby beaches, transport, shopping and restaurants as well as being very welcoming and friendly. Communication was quick and clear. For us the most outstanding part of the accommodation was the kitchen and adjacent roof terrace. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could conceivably need to prepare a simple breakfast or a full evening meal to eat on the marvellous roof terrace. The terrace is the highest in the area and gives you great views to the sea, over the town and to the hills in the distance. We all loved watching the sun set over the hills from the roof while enjoying a drink in the evening. The bedroom was perfect, everything worked great and was kept spotlessly clean by the friendly cleaning staff. The accommodation is very centrally located for the markets full of fresh fish and fruit and also for the beaches. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
